Ο Sir Gregory, Ιππότης της Πρώτης Σταυροφορίας αγωνίζεται σε μια εσωτερική διαμάχη της εξασθενημένης πίστης του. Η ιστορία ξεκινα ,όταν ο πόλεμος τελειώνει, και οι Ιππότες ψάχνουν για ένα κατάλληλο δώρο από τους Αγίους Τόπους για να δώσουν στον Άγιο Πατέρα ως έπαινο της νίκης τους. Ο Sir Gregory και Ιππότες του ανακαλύπτουν ένα κομμάτι του Τιμίου Σταυρού και το μεταφέρουν στη Ρώμη για να το παρουσιάσουν στην Αγία Έδρα.Το ταξίδι τους παρεμποδίζεται από μια σειρά φοβερών «βιβλικών» γεγονότων, μέχρι να συνειδητοποιήσουν επιτέλους οτι "το βραβείο τους" έχει ένα πιο σκοτεινό μυστικό ... και κάτι φοβερό θα τους κυνηγήσει ..
